Riyadh Hosts World’s Largest Comedy Festival

If laughter’s the best medicine, get ready for a miracle cure, because Riyadh is about to host some of the world’s best-known comedians, turning into one giant laugh track, a spring of serotonin, if you will. The first-ever Riyadh Comedy Festival is hitting the capital from 26 September to 9 October 2025, and it’s coming in loud.

We’re talking Dave Chapelle, Bill Burr, Kevin Hart, Russell Peters, Gabriel Iglesias, Pete Davidson… Basically a comedy Avengers lineup flying in to light up venues all over the capital. Stand-up, satire, sketch, improv… whatever makes you laugh-snort in public, it’s happening right here in Riyadh.

And it’s not just the OGs. Over 50 comedians are taking over the city, including rising icons like Whitney Cummings, Jessica Kirson, and Zarna Garg. You’ll catch them dropping punchlines at Mohammed Ali Theatre, ANB Arena, Boulevard City Comedy, and SEF Arena

This isn’t just a festival. It’s the first ever Riyadh Comedy Festival, which means you get bragging rights forever. You were there when it all kicked off.

So, yeah, good luck choosing just one night… or maybe feel free to book five?

And if you are curious about where to get your tickets and check out the program (or simply impatient), you can find it all on the official Webook website here.

While you’re here…

When you’re not at the laugh-fest, you’ve got a whole city to explore. Boulevard City’s a foodie playground whether you crave sushi or molten chocolate cake, want to try out Saudi dishes from the source, or treats from around the region. You can find out more about where the gastronauts go around the Kingdom in this handy guide.

Or if you just simply want to know more about Saudi cuisine and provincial delicacies, we have a guide for that, too.

And if you’re as into museums as you are into comedy, here is a guide that will take you to the most epic museums in Saudi.
