Can you tell us a bit about yourself?
Hi! I’m Jenny, and I’m the founder of By Muse Socials, a social media agency based in both Saudi Arabia and Toronto. I moved to Saudi in 2021 after visiting and instantly feeling drawn to the energy here. As a creative, I could see something exciting unfolding, and I knew I wanted to be part of it. My journey as a founder and creative has been truly special, and a huge part of that is thanks to the vibrant, supportive creative scene that welcomed me in.
How has the creative environment in Saudi impacted you personally?
It’s shaped everything, from my work to who I am today. The energy, the diversity, the passion, the creative scene here is like nothing I’ve experienced anywhere else.
What kind of collaborations have stood out to you?
I’ve had the privilege of working with some incredible women across different creative fields, artists, entrepreneurs, designers, makeup artists, photographers. The talent here is seriously impressive, and it’s always inspiring to see what can happen when we come together.
What makes the creative scene in Saudi Arabia so unique?
Everyone brings something of their own, their own style, their own story. That individuality means we’re constantly creating things that are fresh, meaningful, and reflective of so many different perspectives.
What do you value most about the community here?
Honestly, it’s the way people support one another. Whether it’s sharing advice, lifting each other up, or just showing hospitality, the sense of community here is real. It’s one of the things I love most about living and working in Saudi.
What would you say to creatives who are thinking about exploring opportunities in Saudi?
I’d say come with an open mind and a curious heart. There’s so much happening here, and so much space for fresh ideas and new voices. Whether you’re looking to collaborate, create, or just connect with other creatives, Saudi Arabia has a lot to offer. I’m grateful to be part of it and excited to see where it goes next.
