Saudi by Faisal: F1 Jeddah Weekend Was More Than a Race – It Was a Full-On Festival

Faisal’s TikTok video at the 2025 Formula 1 Grand Prix in Jeddah was pure energy. From the roar of the engines to the Red Sea views, he gave us front row seats to one of the biggest weekends in the city. It wasn’t just a race, it was a full-on vibe, and Faisal captured it all.

What made you want to film this video about the Jeddah F1 Grand Prix?
Faisal: I’m all about moments that bring people together, and F1 in Jeddah is that on a massive scale. The atmosphere? Unreal. You’ve got fans from everywhere, adrenaline in the air, and the city just doesn’t stop. Jeddah has this late-night buzz that hits different, and I wanted to show that. No filters, just how it really felt.

What was your favorite part of the weekend?
Faisal: The night race, hands down. The lights, the skyline, the sea breeze — it was wild. But honestly, the whole scene was lit. Food trucks, live music, packed crowds… it felt more like a festival than a race. That surprised me, in the best way.

What do you think makes Jeddah such an exciting city right now, beyond just F1?
Faisal: Jeddah’s on another level lately. It’s not just the big events like F1 — it’s everything: concerts, art shows, beach festivals, even football matches. There’s always something going on. The city has this rhythm that pulls you in. Whether you’re into sports, culture, or just good food and music, Jeddah delivers. It’s honestly one of the most fun places to be right now.

How do events like this change the mood in Jeddah?
Faisal: It kicks the city into overdrive. The streets are buzzing, people stay out late, there’s something happening on every corner. It’s like Jeddah hits a new stride for the weekend, and it’s awesome to be part of that.

What do you hope people take from your video?
Faisal: I hope they feel the hype — and maybe rethink what they thought Saudi was like. You don’t have to be an F1 fan to get into it. It’s about the vibe, the people, the whole scene. There’s a new story unfolding here, and it’s for everyone.
